Description: Up for sale today is a Vintage Whiting & Davis Enamel Decorated Mesh Purse. This purse has an absolutely fabulous black and white Art Deco design! Its marked Whiting & Davis inside the closure, and features a braided handle. The purse measures approx. 18" long overall including the handle - without the handle its 11" long x about 8" wide at the bottom! Its in great condition for its age. There is some typical use/storage wear, including some separation of the mesh to the closure around the hinges, which is pretty typical of these vintage mesh purses. The closure may also be slightly misshapen, but nothing major, and it doesn't close super tight, but could be adjusted if you want. The purse would display well in your collection.
