Description: VINTAGE HANDMADE MEXICAN FOLK ARTOLINALA LACQUER DECORATIVE WOOD TRAY This beautiful handmade Olinala tray was purchased in Puerto Vallarta in the 1970s. It was never used as a tray, stored away until now. It measures 18" x 12" and is in perfect condition. It weighs 1lb.13oz. The almost monochrome aquamarine design blends greenery into feather forms with birds and other small animals hiding here and there. The central motif is a bird on a cactus, it seems. Purchase labels mention that this beautiful piece was made by the Nahua Indians of the sierras of Guerrero.
