Description: This is a fantastic Vintage LS Lowry framed and glazed Lithograph Print titled “Family Discussion” which is a black and white lithograph produced by the much-loved and iconic 20th century British painter, L.S. Lowry (1887-1976) and published by Henry Donn in 1974. The original drawing was made by Lowry in 1968. This print differs from other works by Lowry such as Going to Work or Coming Home from the Mill. The artist is best known for his industrial landscapes in which he depicts the factories of Manchester and the people who work in them. Lowry was fascinated by the seriality and monotony of factory work. This print, however, has a much more personal element, resonating with Lowry’s own life and familial relationships. This official print is numbered 542 of 850 which is detailed in the bottom left corner. To the centre, below the print, is the official embossed limited-edition mark. The frame is in good condition with just a little age-related wear and measures approximately 58.5cm by 46.5cm.
