Description: This is a Vintage Empoli Italy Green Glass Cleat Boot Shoe 9.5"L 6"H 4"W. It's in good condition with some scratches. I was drawn to purchase this very unusual piece. It looked to very hight quality glass making and I like a challenge to determine attribution. The piece was confirmed Empoli made by the Empoli expert in the Murano Glass/Italian Art Glass, Empoli, for GLGD Facebook Group. The glass is Empoli green and weighs over 3 pounds. And, the shoe strings are intact! Take a look at all the photos. The pontil is ground but not polished (it's in a very difficult spot). There is a semi flat spot on the toe also where I'm sure they had the blow rod at some point during the making. It was obviously made by some one who knows what they were doing. It will be packed well for shipping.
