Description: Vintage Dinky Toy 174 Ford Mercury Cougar all original old store stock w/ box ————— This is Dinky’s die-cast 1:42 model of a Mercury Cougar, in metallic blue. Manufactured c. 1970 by Meccano Ltd., Liverpool, England. Unused old store stock obtained from a California toy shop many years ago. NOT a modern reproduction. CONDITION - “MINT & BOXED” - Looks unused; never displayed; no obvious faults. There is very faint, hardly noticeable box scuffing on roof (see photo #8) and right door handle. Doors open smoothly. Retractable antenna not tested but looks fine. All original and complete. As always with 50+ year old toys, there may be age wear or minor dings not spotted. Please check the photos as they are part of lot description. Approximate model length: 5 inches. BOX is fresh and intact with all flaps attached. Light shop or age wear.
