Description: This vintage Champion, from Featherweight Products in Glendale, California, wood fishing rod handle is a must-have for any freshwater fishing enthusiast. The wood handle design on this fishing rod handle is one of the oldest made by Champion and also one of the rarest. The garage seat is secured by a cam lever and thumbscrew. The rod blank is attached by a three-jaw chuck-style attachment system. Paint is still in good condition with very little wear and all attachment systems work as they should with no problems. There is a slight bit of wear on the wood handle which is disclosed in the photos. A great piece!
