Vintage 1961 Toledo 2 LBS Heavy Duty Candy Store Scale Model 3111 EXC. L@@K

Description: This listing is for a very cool vintage Toledo scale, model 3111 dated 1961. This is a high quality, heavy-duty candy store scale with a 2 LBS capacity. This scale is in super nice & clean cosmetic condition. It only has a handful of tiny pits in the white powder coated finish with only one ding being a tad bigger than 1mm. There is some light rust on the chrome scoop tray holder which would probably clean nicely with some chrome cleaner but I will leave that to the new owner. The scoop holder is in excellent shape also and is cast in solid aluminum. The only caveat to the scale is it is missing the small arched glass window on the back facing (customer side) of the scale. This could be replaced with either a custom piece of glass or, more easily, plexiglass. On the good side, the scales measurement guide (behind the missing glass) is in perfect, unscratched and clean condition. The scale is also in accurate working condition and ready for use (see video of me measuring out 8 ounces to of Dots candy right on the money!). It features a zeroing knob (inside of the small chrome latch of the front bottom left) and an adjustable weight on the bottom which controls the scales accuracy. The scale will need to be re-zeroed when the new owner sets it up first time. The scale also features a small amber colored bubble level. This scale is perfect for measuring small items, such as candy or nuts, accurately and efficiently. This scale is a superb example of this 1961candy store classic and you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one out there! It's iconic design and functionality would make this a great addition to any antique collection or a stylish piece for a retro-themed kitchen. Thanks and please feel free to ask any questions.
