The metal mesh has colors of red, blue, black and white on a bright, shiny goldtone metal base. Some enamel loss to mesh body throughout with most notable areas of loss being at the top inside the framing, at the closure area on one side, the hinge sides and tips of skirt. There is a zigzag VanDyke skirt at the bottom. The cathedral frame is goldtone with embossed floral design. There is some darkening and surface scratching. There is a tight & secure kiss lock closure and frame sides do not meet quite flush. The open & infinity link chain handle has a 7" drop. The Whiting & Davis drop tag is attached to the inside of frame. The purse is unlined. The purse measures about 7 1/2" in length and 5" from widest part of frame, edge to edge.
