Description: one original USGI M-1 Garand rifle 30-06 caliber barrel,marked HRA 1-54 on side,january 1954 manufacture date,has P (springfield arsenal acceptance stamp) and M,and ordinance wheel,marked HRA D6535418 1-54 RS37 P M,and ordinance wheel,rifling is sharp,bore is close to excellent,crown is still good.catches bullet about an 3/16ths of an inch before shoulder,as per photo,Its getting very hard to find barrels with nice bores,much less any crown left,this one is better than average.Throat and chamber guaged 3-2, better than anything I have seen coming out of the CMP recently.Excellent opportunity to upgrade a collector piece,turn a wallhanger into a shooter,or to replace a worn part.see my other listings for more US M-1 carbine and M-1 garand rifle parts and accessories
