Description: LIVING ESTATE SALE (Details at the end of description) For your consideration is a Stuart Boiler # 500 made in England in the 1960s. The boiler 500 is the smallest boiler that was sold by Stuart for many years.This boiler has not been fired.It is neither perfect nor ready to go : it will require a bit of work. Main things to report : - The smoke stack was missing and the replacement is not original. - The original insulation was asbestos and it was either lost or discarded. I am providing you with a lawful replacement that needs to be cut to te proper dimensions. - The water level sight was never installed and the glass tube did not come with it. I am providing you with an assortment of glass tubes and o-rings and, hopefully, you will make it work. Depending upon the size, you will have to drill the nut holes and receivers to fit the size you choose. So, indeed a bit of work is needed but this is still quite a unique find. They hardly ever come unfired. It is mostly complete, unused and mostly original (including the burner). Stuart always had the boilers sub contracted and they have been out of production for quite a while.
