Physically, this Qosmio is in excellent overall condition considering its age with minor signs of cosmetic wear and use to the exterior of the laptop. The bottom base and LCD lid have scratches and scrapes consistent with age and use. The internal parts of the laptop like the display, palmrest and keyboard are in excellent condition with no obvious wear. Functionally, this Qosmio is in flawless condition. The CPU and GPU have been refreshed with high quality Honeywell PTM7950 thermal interface material for significantly improved thermal performance and reliability. This Qosmio will manage the heat from its internal components better than when new with this thermal material. The original Toshiba battery has been removed and the computer will need its battery replaced or be connected to power at all times. A fresh installation of Windows XP Media Center Edition with Service Pack 3 has been pre-installed along with system drivers, Toshiba applications, Windows updates and the latest compatible NVIDIA graphics drivers on a 240GB SSD for greatly increased responsiveness. Some Toshiba-specific drivers or software may be missing due to the unavailability of downloads for this laptop. The original QosmioPlayer partition is intact and functional on the SSD for media playback. The drive partitions have been properly aligned for XP for the longest possible storage life. This Qosmio is loaded with unique components like harman/kardon tuned speakers, TV tuner, built-in fingerprint sensor and a plethora of media features and is exceedingly hard to find and even harder in excellent, functional condition. Close attention to detail has gone in to restoring this Qosmio to as close to new as possible on a software level with original Toshiba bundled applications, utilities and drivers that are difficult to find.
