THL 8pc Kitchen Set: 4 Canisters, Salt/Pepper/Milk/Sugar, Minor Flaws, Preowned

Description: For your consideration is a gorgeous set of THL canisters, sugar bowl w lid and spoon, small milk pitcher and salt and pepper shakers in preowned condition with some minor flaws. This set looks great overall as you can see from photos #1 - #5, but it does have some flaws, most of which are barely noticeable except upon close inspection. This set includes four canisters - Flour, Coffee, Tea and Sugar with pierced lids (photo #4) that have interior gaskets and oval metal plates on the front. There is a pair of salt and pepper shakers with the rubber plugs intact. There is also a sugar bowl that includes a solid lid and a ceramic spoon along with a small milk pitcher, both of which have pierced rims at the top. All of the pieces have fluted or rippled sides. The salt and pepper shakers and the milk pitcher have no noticeable flaws. There is a fleabite on the top of the rim of the sugar bowl - see photo #10 - that is more of an abrasion in the finish than a chip out of the ceramic. The most significant flaw in this set is a chip on the right hand corner of the sugar canister as seen in photos #6 and #7 from two different perspectives. Also, the gasket on the coffee canister is stained brown from coffee grounds. I soaked the gasket in denture cleaner and in a bit of bleach; I could not get the stain out. The other flaws/minor chips are on or near the bottoms of the canisters, particularly at or near the corners. These minor chips are only noticeable upon the closest inspection. I will describe these in detail in the descriptions below along with the measurements of each piece. Flour Canister: 8 1/4 inches high x 4 1/4 inches square. Small chip at front bottom right corner (see photo #8) and on the edge of the middle back at the bottom. Coffee Canister: 8 1/4 inches high x 4 1/4 inches square. Gasket is stained brown from being exposed to ground coffee. Glaze only chips on front right bottom corner and back bottom right (as you are facing front right of canister) corner. Tea Canister: 6 3/8 inches high x 4 1/8 inches square. No apparent flaws. Sugar Canister: 6 3/8 inches high x 4 1/8 inches square. As previously mentioned, a noticeable chip on the front right edge, nearly unnoticable chip on front bottom right corner and on back left bottom edge. Salt and Pepper Shakers: 3 inches high x 1 3/4 inches square. No known flaws. Sugar Bowl, Lid and Spoon: About 4 inches high x 2 3/4 inches at the base. As mentioned above, a fleabite chip at top of the pierced rim that is more of an abrasion in the glaze than a chip in the ceramic. No flaws noted in the lid and spoon. Milk Pitcher: 3 1/2 inches high x 4 3/4 inches wide. Base is 2 3/4 inches x 2 3/8 inches. The oval metal plates and the pierced lids and gaskets all appear to be in great condition, except for the brown coffee staining on the coffee canister gasket. Thanks for looking!
