Description: This vintage 1984 promotional poster was for the album, Stop Making Sense: Music From a Film by Jonathan Demme , on Sire Records by Talking Heads. Poster was printed in limited quantities and distributed in select U.S.A. record stores and radio stations to promote the new soundtrack album release. Poster has some minor edge wear on left border( see photos #6 and #7 ) but overall is in excellent condition. Colors are vivid since poster has been in storage for 40 years. I worked at various music stores over 25 years and stashed plenty of posters along the way. The attic is full, and the closets are stuffed. so it is time to share with other music fans and collectors. Poster dimensions are 36 in. length x 24 in. width.
