Single 25mm Dark Purple Mummy Early Edition Glass Mega Marble Shooter Vacor 2003

Description: These Early Edition 25mm (1 inch) "Mummy" shooter marbles are sold in Singles. Crafted in gorgeous, translucent dark purple glass with stunning thick, opaque orange swirls on the surface and inside the marbles. These swirls are thicker than the ones on the light purple Mummy marbles that we also sell in our eBay Store. The purple color can also look honey-brown until it is under or around light. The colors are truly exceptional!! Made by Vacor (Mega Marbles) between the years of 2003 and 2014, this version has been discontinued, although other versions of this marble have been made ever since. These are an early edition. Every run of a marble is a little different with the earliest runs being the best. These marbles come bagged in bulk quantities and we have included a picture of the original bag they came in. We received several bags that contained both dark purple and light purple marbles. Because of the distinct difference in the colors of the purple bases, we decided to divide them out and list them in dark and light categories instead of mixing them. These marbles are highly sought after as collectibles, very hard to find and will surely create a conversation whenever used or displayed! Our quantities are very limited. Images are representative of selection. Each marble is a unique glass orb. No two marbles are exactly alike. Please be aware that marbles are very difficult to photograph and due to differences in personal settings on computers and hand held devices the colors you see may vary slightly from the color you receive. Lighting such as flash photography can greatly effect the look of a marble as can holding the marble under different types of lighting can make the color look slightly different. We do our absolute best to represent our marbles accurately and true to color, but even the best photography will not display as 100% perfect. The white spots on these marbles are light reflections, not damage or error spots. Due to the way they were manufactured, this type of marble may sometimes have creases or cold rolled marks. They may not be as smooth as other newer marbles. Machine made marbles are made by rolling molten glass with various colors. In larger sizes of marbles roll marks from this process may sometimes be seen as part of the normal making process. If it is a cold roll mark (smooth not sharp edges), most consider that as-made and it would fall in the mint category. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Not intended for children under 5 years of age.
