Description: Vintage 1940’s Pratt Whitney Aircraft Engine Exhaust Valve p/n: 17072 in the “Original” Pratt & Whitney Box. The box itself, being 82 years old, is in quite good condition for its age. The box alone could be considered a “WWII Memorabilia Collector’s Item”. The Valve is 5” tall with .620 diameter stem and 2.375 head diameter. As to which Pratt & Whitney engine it fits, I do not know. The box may have some wear on it and I will send out the best one first. There was a Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Division “Transfer Ticket” dated 8/1/40 that you can see in the fifth photo. That “Transfer Ticket” does not come with the valve as it is the only one I have. These came in a large WWII aircraft parts inventory. Even though item is in New Surplus condition, buyer is responsible to make sure that this part will work for their application as there is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. Please Note: Shipping Charges are non-refundable. Items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, on a case to case basis. If you purchase more than one item please wait for an updated invoice with adjusted shipping charges.Thank You
