Description: Super rare Longaberger basket made before Longaberger was even a company. This market basket was made by JW (John Wendel ) Longaberger himself. It has been authenticated and signed by Carmen Longaberger 11 and Gary Longaberger 10. I think the accent weave was a dark green, but it is very faded. This basket is large. Has some numbers written on it - maybe how the owner identified it. Basket has been used as it was originally intended to be! It has cracked and chipped splints, missing splints, as well as stains. This basket ships in an over sized box so shipping is higher. Smoke free home. I also have an Original JW Pool Basket too!
