The 1981 win for Porsche made Jacky Ickx the first driver to achieve five outright victories. He would go on to win his sixth Le Mans victory in 1982. The Porsche win was almost an hour ahead of the second place competitor - right in time for the 50th anniversary of Dr. Ing.h.c.F. Porsche AG, and 30 years after Porsche's first start at Le Mans. The additional inches provide adequate space to properly fame this poster without concealing any of the poster's image. I acquired this poster in 1984 when I became a member of the Porsche Car Club America (PCA).
