S. Revenue Cutter Service as second assistant engineer, and continued until 1895, he was active in art and made a lot of portraits, and political cartoons, but i am not sure if any of them were published or not. He also published an early book on CROSS WORDS (1933) doing all the art himself. Specifically this item is an original famous person, dated as shown. he did a lot of famous people if i know who it is i put the name in the title, but i am not always sure, if you know and want to let me know, please do.
