This panel is French and I date it to the late 1700's , possibley early 1800's ~ It's a very early textile ~ this textile is all hand stitched~ The fabric is a sheer muslin , probably imported from India~ There is a very very pale ground pattern hand block printed on to this muslin~ There is something about this textile that really really speaks to me....just beautiful, very early, simplicity ~ I have it's matching curtain online now. To view it, simply search my store for " 18th Sheet Curtain" and if available it will appear! ~ MEASUREMENTS : This lovely lace curtain panel measures approximately 63 inches long by 30 inches wide at the bottom. The top where it is gathered measures 12 inches ~ CONDITION ~ this textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are a few tiny holes. and some tiny rust stains ~ There are many small hand mends , so so so lovely ! This textile has light signs of time and use making it just perfect ~ Etsy K 109
