Description: Up for sale is a one-of-a-kind destro Omega Speedmaster Professional "Ultraman" mod built entirely of NOS parts. The NOS Omega case complete (ref. 145.0022/345.0022) is housing a NOS Lemania 1873 (Omega 861 equivalent) movement that was fully serviced in September, 2024 and is performing flawlessly (see timegrapher pictures). While the lume of the NOS Omega dial has developed lovely patina, it is still fully functional and glows in the dark. The same is true of the OEM Omega hands. The watch comes on an Uncle Seiko US1450 "President" bracelet that should fit 8+ inch wrists. A couple of things to note about the LHD conversion. Since everything except the dial is rotated 180 degrees, the chronograph start/stop button is now @ 8 o'clock. The chrono reset button is @ 10 o'clock. Also, the watch small/running seconds and the chronograph minute totalizer (sub-registers @ 9 & 3 o'clock) have switched places with each other. In other words, the chronograph minute totalizer hand is now in the running/small seconds sub-register and vice versa. Finally, the chronograph hour totalizer hand (sub-register at 6 o'clock) remains static at all times and does NOT operate (or reset, for that matter) when running the chronograph as its underlying hardware has been disabled as part of the destro/LHD conversion.
