I believe this is possibly an accessory add on part for spicing up the looks of your AMC and will fit a lot of different AMC models but I am not sure what years, makes and models for sure I have no way to look it up so use the part # and casting # to research if need be. Details: PN# 8124008Casting # stamped on part: 3672818Date Code: 16230Location: Right passenger side front (Headlight trim)Condition: Mounting hardware in mint condition. Molding back side is near mint with all mounting points nice and fully intact. Front side of molding chrome portion has small small light pitting here and there throughout, no real bad scratches but some small light surface scratches, has some blemishes in its finish in 1 spot and 1 small spot on the edge where it looks like chrome is missing or didn't get in a spot from the factory possibly. Package has a hole in it, it is dirty and far from perfect but not too bad either. See pictures for further details on condition and to see what you are getting. Sold as is.
