Description: Large Wood Firkin Sugar Bucket Lid and Handle 12” diameter top, 14 ½” wide including handle, 12” high, handle extends 6” above top of firkin. Staved design, wood strap banding. Well-constructed, tight seams. Pre-owned good overall condition. No splits on wooden staves, bottom of firkin or top. Lid has a few marks on it which appear to be burns (cigarette?). Bottom has some holes and indentations that appear to be from legs screwed on. Top wood strap banding has a chip in it under one of the handle fasteners. One of the bottom wood strap bands has had some of its staple fasteners replaced with brass brads. Please see photos as these are part of description.
