Kept inside miniature wood, glass, or tin containers to safeguard the soft lead figures, they were primarily French and German in manufacture and date from the first half of the twentieth century. After the war, the lay faithful came to use pocket shrines in their everyday prayer. Our collection is cast in yellow bronze and sterling silver from historical examples. NOTE: Due to the nature of the hand-casting process, there might be slight variations in finish and detail from that pictured.
