Description: The piston stems that GT put out in the 90’s are so hot. This 1 in threaded stem is dated 1998 As always Any major surface imperfections were sanded, buffed than polished to an almost mirror shine. I usually start between 80 and 180 and work my way up to between 7000 and 10,000 wet sanding in the latter part of the resto. The stem looks fantastic and I will polish and treat the again before it’s sent to its new home. 90% of the parts I source are rider quality but need a little bit of help getting back the luster they once had. I take these parts and restore them to like new condition without compromising brand integrity or functionality. All the parts I source for clients or restore work as they should.
