Description: This is a spectacular, French advertising sign for 'Jalapa,' a fabric cleaner. It pictures a king pouring the product into a wash basin for a woman as swans pull his boat. Printed on thick board, it has a string on the top from which it can hang. Circa 1920, it shows some discoloration and has a few pencil scribbles on the front as well as some light creasing.
