The part which remains covered most of the time is in excellent condition. o Mechanically, the back shroud was removed to assess the guts. The old, hardened grease was removed, and the newly cleaned bits were re-greased. The interior wiring looks good, not brittle. The power cord, which is retractable, is also pliable and not in need of immediate replacement. The drive belt is in good shape and in no danger of failure, although it iis slightly out of round from long term storage, which causes some minor vibrations while in use. The vibrations have diminished over time & use during evaluation and will continue to do so with additional usage. o Optically, the projecting lens is fair, some haze on the backside of the mobile group inside the lens.
