Description: Please see photos for condition. Previous owners used tape on the back corners of the poster and attempted to repair a tear at the bottom. Also, some staple holes in the corners. Has a fair amount of wrinkles in it but are not noticeable in a frame. There are some interesting newspaper articles a Reddit user found that are easy to find if you search "Austin Winter Music Festival 1979 Reddit" in a search engine. It seems the festival nearly did not happen at all, making this poster even more of a gem. The illustrator for the poster is Robert Sargent, a widely collected 20th century American artist. He wrote and produced fairy tales for a weekly children's television program in Sweden that would also feature classical music. Thanks for looking at this collectible and rare poster.
