Description: Antique Early 19th Century (1819-1838) Charles-Marie Guidée French Solid 950/1000 Standard Silver Julep Cup/beaker, or could be a christening cup. Circa 1820. Engraved F. Moore. Fully Hallmarked for Paris ("viellard" or "Michel-Angel" stamp) to the base & Charles-Marie Guidée (active from 1801). In fair/good antique condition with many age related character dings, as shown in my photos, however this does not detract from the piece and is to be expected on a piece of this age with typical cup use. There are makers fuse lines marks, also shown in the photos. Measurements approximately: Height: 7cm (2 & 3/4”) Weight: 60.81g Maximum capacity: 150ml (0.263 pint) This is beautiful antique French Silver, with its own history and character. If you like items to be as new, this unfortunately, will not be right for you. I only sell items in their original condition, so buyers know they are getting the original without any alterations. This allows the buyer to decide the items future. I have given it a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don't over clean or polish. There may be the odd age related wear/mark commensurate with age, anything of note is listed above. Please see all photos using the zoom function available, as they constitute the item description. Please note where possible packaging is recycled. If purchasing via expedited shipping despatch time will be one working day maximum. I only ship internationally via eBay’s GSP service, as the U.K. does not provide a fully tracked service. Check out my other listings for more collectables.
