Description: Ahearne+MAP handlebar was designed to be a comfortable all around commuter bar. It has an ergonomic bend that follows the natural hand position of a rider, making it easy on the wrists. The design is based on a the old Cinelli "Pope" bar, and has been adapted to fit modern mountain bike brake levers and shifters. Grip area diameter, 7/8”. There is a 25mm rise from the stem clamp, which means the bar can also be flipped and used with a drop if that’s your preference. * * * These are like the Cinelli Pope/Priest bars with some slight tweaks to make them more practical. Grip area is longer to accommodate standard grips and brake levers. Forward reach is increased to reduce the change in cockpit length.
