It was issued in 1953. In 1953 “Red China” was ruled by Mao Zedong and the “Republic of” or “Nationalist China” was led by Chiang Kai-shek. The “Korean War” ended on July 27, with the United Nations Command (South Korea), People’s Republic of Red China, and North Korea signing an armistice agreement.
