Description: Up for auction is a beautiful postcard cover from a prisoner named Peter Burchardt in the Oranienburg concentration camp near Berlin which was part of the larger Sachsenhausen concentration camp complex and slave labor camp complex to Sophie Burchardt in Tomassow Poland, general Government, GG. Postmarked July 9, 1941. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Very nice postal history cover. Postcard text says: "Dear Sophie and Eduard, "Thank you for your letter received. Money transfer of June 5 received with many thanks. I am in good health hoping same for you. As per Aunt Rapiecka you have to decide what to do. AS you have told me that Eduard is crying whenever you talk about me, please calm him down in telling him everything will be allright. "Thousand kisses and love, Piotr."
