Generally, around only 1% of T206 cards in existence carry the Tolstoi advertising back, “Tolstoi, Russian Mouth Piece Cigarettes.” The PSA grade, 1, is due to obvious creases running across the card. On the Player - John Edwin Hummel (1883-1959) served as a versatile player for the Brooklyn Superbas, Brooklyn Dodgers, Brooklyn Robins (1905–1915), and the New York Yankees (1918). Over the course of his 12-season career spanning 1,161 games, Hummel achieved a .254 batting average, a .316 on-base percentage, and a .352 slugging percentage. He concluded his career with experience playing at all three outfield positions and covering first base, second base, and shortstop as well. Set information - The 1909-1911 T206 set is considered by many as the most important baseball card set in the hobby field.
