Description: This very rare Home Watch Co. Waltham pocket watch model 1857 is a true treasure for collectors, it’s in beautiful condition. With a full hunter closure and 11 jewels, this vintage piece features a white dial with crystal bezel, Roman numerals and a 12-hour analog display. The movement is mechanical and manual, with a seconds hand. The pocket watch is 18s. The case is made of 3 oz. coin silver and has a polished finish, and brass working parts. There are no dents on the case and all closures work perfectly. The crystal bezel covering the clock face has no scratches. This unique pocket watch was manufactured between February and April 1875 in the United States and has a rich history. It is a great addition to any collection. With no papers, service records, or original box/packaging, this Waltham pocket watch is a rare find and well taken care of, and still works after 149 years. There is light usage marks, but at its age it’s very well preserved. The condition as shown in the pictures says it all. When mailed it will require a signature on delivery.
